Ingman Marine announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire Cannons Marina, marking the company’s fourth location in Southwest Florida. The closing is expected soon, extending Ingman’s longstanding partnership with Grady-White Boats and strengthening service to boaters across Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties.
The move brings together two family-owned dealerships with a combined 135 years of experience. Both companies have been recognized nationally as top Grady-White dealers, known for customer loyalty, integrity and award-winning service.
Ingman Marine, founded more than 45 years ago, has grown from a single location into one of Florida’s most respected boating businesses. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, the dealership has built its reputation on strong ties with Grady-White and Yamaha Outboard Motors.
Cannons Marina, established in 1955, is considered Florida’s oldest and most well-regarded Grady-White dealer. The marina has represented the brand for nearly five decades and is known for its deep community roots and loyal customer base.
With the addition of Cannons Marina, Ingman Marine aims to expand its reach while preserving both companies’ traditions of personal service and technical expertise. Customers will continue to have access to the brands and support they have come to expect, while benefiting from the combined knowledge and resources of two of Florida’s top dealerships.
The acquisition underscores the importance of the Gulf Coast boating market, where family-owned marine businesses remain a driving force in the community.
