Crowds Raise Their Steins for Second Annual Oktoberfest in Downtown Wellen

Downtown Wellen came alive Saturday, October 11, for the second annual Oktoberfest, drawing hundreds for a day filled with live music, contests, and classic German fare. Guests enjoyed keg tapping, stein-hoisting contest, dancing, and performances from DeLeon Entertainment Inc. as part of the community-wide celebration.

The event, hosted by Wellen Park, featured local food vendors, family-friendly activities, and plenty of festive energy. Organizers said the goal was to bring residents and visitors together for a fall tradition that highlights the growing sense of community in the area.

Sponsors included BB Living, David Weekley Homes, Paradise Exclusive Real Estate, HCA Florida Healthcare Wellen Park Emergency, and All American Purification – Water Treatment as the In Kind sponsor.

Plans are already in motion for next year’s Oktoberfest, with organizers aiming to build on the event’s strong community support and festive atmosphere.
