World-Class Art Exhibit Returns to Boca Grande’s Art On Park Avenue Festival in 2026

Art by Jim Tucker

Get ready, because Boca Grande’s Art On Park Avenue Festival is back for 2026, and people are already buzzing about it.

Mark your calendars for Saturday and Sunday, February 21-22. For two days, Park Avenue and 4th Street will turn into a vibrant, open-air art gallery, thanks to the Boca Grande Chamber of Commerce and local favorite Carroll Swayze.

Carroll Swayze has poured nearly a year into planning this festival. She’s made sure it will be a win for the island and for the talented artists traveling from all over to be part of it. “Now in its third year, Art on Park Avenue is quickly earning a reputation as a must-attend, highly juried event among top artists and craftsmen around the country,” Swayze says. “They’re competing for a place in this prestigious festival.”

Swayze knows how to put together a show. She’s drawn in artists from across the U.S. Over 50 award-winning creators, covering every medium you can imagine. This is the spot for art collectors and anyone who loves original work. You’ll find everything from stunning paintings to hand-forged jewelry and more, all one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t see anywhere else.

Many crowd favorites are returning this year. Ben Foster, the Wyoming sculptor known for his life-size bronzes, is back. Local glass blower Rich Fizer will show off his splashy, colorful blown glass walls. Jewelry fans have a treat in store with Hannah Long, Alexis Barbeau, and Don McCoy, all bringing their exquisite, hand-forged gold, silver, and gemstone pieces that become family treasures. John Grammer is coming all the way from St. John, USVI, with his aluminum ocean creatures, and graphic artist Kristin Moger is debuting her latest intricate drawings. Carroll Swayze herself will display her newest acrylics, and you won’t want to miss the whimsical metal sculptures from island plumber Bruce Trewyn. Honestly, there’s something for everyone: original watercolors, acrylics, oils, bronze sculptures, pottery, photography, raku, mixed media, abstracts, and dazzling glasswork.

Tandem Travelers

The festival runs Saturday, February 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bring your friends and family. Walk the sun-soaked streets, soak up the creativity, pick up something special from island shops and boutiques, and grab a bite at one of Boca Grande’s fantastic restaurants.
