Passionate About Your Community? Charlotte County Wants to Hear Your Ideas

Charlotte County wants your feedback.

Are you passionate about the future of your community? Charlotte County wants to hear your ideas.

Right now, the county is putting together its 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan. This will steer HUD funding for affordable housing and community development, decisions that affect how we all live. They’re asking for input from locals, so whether you’ve got strong opinions or just a little feedback, this is your chance.

You can share your thoughts in a few ways. Try the Charlotte County app, available for free in both the Apple Store and Google Play Store. Through the app, you can report issues, track them, or even ask questions directly.

If you like surveys, jump into the National Community Survey or offer feedback specifically for the Consolidated Plan. Parents: there are school-specific surveys too, tailored for your input.

Need to report a code compliance issue? Head to the online Citizen Access Portal called One View, or call 941-743-1201.

If you want to comment on your experience with the Sheriff’s Office, visit in person, call 941-639-2101, or fill out their online survey.

Illegal dumping? Reach Public Works fast at 866-938-6722.

For more focused questions, especially about economic development, contact the Economic Development Office at 941-764-4941, or stop by 18501 Murdock Circle, Suite 302, in Port Charlotte.

Charlotte County’s making decisions, and everyone’s voice counts. Don’t let yours go unheard.
