National Learn to Row Day hosted by Lemon Bay Crew Club

Lemon Bay Crew Club will celebrate National Learn to Row Day on June 6, 2026, with rowing clubs across the country. The local club will have a free Learn to Row Day open house from 7:30 to 10 a.m. June 6 at Indian Mound Park, 210 Winson Ave., Englewood.
Participants can learn the basics of the rowing stroke on an ergometer — indoor rowing machine — and receive a brief introduction to rowing terminology and to the rowing shell with its sliding seats, then test their new skills by helping to crew an eight-oared boat on Lemon Bay.
