Boost Body and Mind for Free: SWFL Whole Health Fair Lands in Cape Coral at Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition

All Abilities Play

If you want practical advice on boosting both your physical and mental health, and maybe make a difference while you’re at it, check out the third annual SWFL Whole Health Fair this Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Cape Coral. It runs from noon to 3 p.m. at Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition, and it’s totally free to drop in. The event isn’t just about health tips; it’s a way to support All Abilities Play, a local non-profit working to build Cape Coral’s first inclusive playground for people of all ages and abilities.

The Whole Health Collective, LLC, led by Josh Echelson, puts on the fair, along with Athletic Recovery Services (also Echelson’s venture), Sarra Lashhab of Healing Loudly, and Courtney Faunce from Embody Collective. Echelson sums up the experience as “an interactive, educational day” where clinicians from across the medical world share their knowledge and connect with the community, all for a good cause.

There’s more than just conversation, though. Grab a bite or coffee from Living Vine Organic Cafe, Miles Away Coffee, or Flour Haus Sourdough. If you’re bringing kids, Just Move Gymnastics has set up an obstacle course to keep them moving.

Throughout the day, you’ll hear from professionals in physical therapy, occupational therapy, massage, mental health, and other fields. They’ll talk about their work and how it touches lives. For anyone who can’t attend in person, there’s a community outreach table with info and resources.

This fair has some history, too. Last year, Echelson teamed up with a local physical therapy company to support ACT (the Abuse Counseling and Treatment Center) with a women’s health fair.

This time, every dollar raised goes to All Abilities Play, an organization whose goal is to create parks where children and adults with physical, intellectual, sensory, or developmental differences can play, connect, and feel welcome alongside everyone else.

Their plans include accessible paths, inclusive restrooms, clear signs, quiet zones, adaptive seating, sensory play areas, wheelchair-accessible swings and merry-go-rounds, wide, easy slides, supportive seesaws, and ramped play structures.

At the Health Fair, you can also enter raffles, attend presentations on well-being, and browse holistic health vendors.

Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition, the host venue, has become an active hub for health and wellness in Southwest Florida. It’s not just a gym; they offer massage therapy, corrective exercise, athletic recovery, neuropediatric occupational therapy, and even a youth gymnastics program. You’ll find them at 307 S.W. 7th Place in Cape Coral.
