Charlotte County Community Services is offering a new Stock Market Club designed for beginners of all ages.
The program begins Saturday, October 4, and runs from Noon to 1 p.m. each week. The cost is $10 for all four sessions. Classes will be held at Harold Avenue Regional Park, 23400 Harold Avenue, Port Charlotte, 33980.
The Stock Market Club will cover a range of topics, including identifying trending hot and cold stocks, reading charts and using indicators, interpreting stock heat maps, and understanding strategies such as investing, day trading, and scalping. Participants will also learn about options trading, including selling calls and puts, reviewing earnings and economic calendars, analyzing news that moves the markets, and recognizing support and resistance levels for key stocks. The program will highlight useful YouTube resources to support continued learning.
