Local entrepreneurs and small business owners will have the opportunity to receive free one-on-one guidance during a consulting event hosted by the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida Gulf Coast University and the Charlotte County Economic Development Office.
The event will take place from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at 18501 Murdock Circle, Room 203, in Port Charlotte.
Designed for new startups and established businesses alike, the consultations cover a wide range of topics including loan preparation, digital marketing, government contracts and business development. Attendees can meet directly with four experienced SBDC consultants:
- Sue Craig, access to capital expert and former banker
- Elizabeth Goldbach, bilingual startup consultant and SBA loan advisor
- Patti Guerzo, marketing strategist and AI implementation expert
- Frederick Ross, government contracting specialist with more than 20 years of experience
Business owners preparing to apply for financing, exploring marketing strategies or considering entry into government contracting are encouraged to attend.
Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins will be accommodated as space permits. The consultations are free to attend.
