Save the date! Registration opens early January.

TALLAHASSEE — Florida Insurance Commissioner Mike Yaworsky is announcing the upcoming 2026 OIR Insurance Summit that will bring top regulators, consumer advocates, and industry executives together to discuss Florida’s insurance market. The Summit will be an essential gathering for industry executives, government affairs personnel, actuaries, and legal professionals seeking to understand the present and shape the future of insurance regulation. OIR is hosting the Summit on April 14-15, 2026 in Tallahassee. Early registration will open in January with more Summit details to follow.

“Florida has one of the most complex insurance markets in the world and our upcoming Insurance Summit will bring together top experts, consumer advocates and regulators to discuss Florida’s evolving market,” said Commissioner Mike Yaworsky. “We have seen great success in Florida’s market recently, and we hope to build on this momentum. Our Summit will be an unparalleled opportunity to engage in additional forward-thinking solutions to stabilize the market, national insurance perspectives, the importance of resiliency, critical oversight components, and more. I encourage the industry to save the date and plan to join us this Spring in Tallahassee.”

Attendees will hear directly from high-level speakers from OIR, who will share important oversight details and transparency conditions. The Summit will also feature national perspectives of insurance regulators from across the country. OIR is urging those wishing to attend to save the date: April 14-15, 2026. The Office will provide registration details in early January. For more information, click here.
