Discover what North Port has to offer at Newcomer Day

NORTH PORT, Fla. — The North Port Parks and Recreation Department is inviting local nonprofits to participate in Newcomer Day on November 1 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The free event, held in collaboration with the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce, will take place at the George Mullen Activity Center, 1602 Kramer Way.

Newcomer Day is designed to connect residents with resources, programs and services available in the community. The expo-style event will feature information tables hosted by local nonprofits, government agencies and businesses. Attendees can explore opportunities, meet service providers and discover ways to get involved. Organizers say the event is open to both newcomers and longtime residents.

For participating organizations, Newcomer Day offers a chance to showcase programs, expand visibility and build relationships. The event also encourages networking among local groups and businesses. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.

Nonprofits interested in participating can complete the online registration form at NorthPortFL.gov/Newcomer. For details, visit NorthPortFL.gov/NewcomerDay or call North Port Parks and Recreation at 941-429-PARK (7275).
