The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office recently recognized local Eagle Scout Evan Dragon for his outstanding service to law enforcement. Sheriff Bill Prummell presented Dragon with an award during the Englewood Community Coalition’s “Shout Out to the Stars” event on October 24. Dragon’s Eagle Scout project provided vital support to the Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit, improving resources and safety for the team and community by raising funds in an effort to help equip the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit with GPS trackers.
