Free Sit-Down Thanksgiving Dinner at Gulf Cove UMC

On Thursday, November 27, from noon until 3:00pm, Gulf Cove United Methodist Church will serve a free, sit-down Thanksgiving dinner for the community. Come inside, have a seat, and relax. Bring your friends and savor some delicious turkey with all the traditional fixings, including dessert. Join in a lively conversation with your friends and our volunteers. Let us cater to your almost every whim. Everyone is invited, and we especially welcome those who may be spending the holiday alone or are in need of a meal and good company. Registering is not mandatory, but it will give us a better chance of not running out of food. If you are homebound and live within 10 miles of the church, you can request that a meal be delivered by registering by noon on Tuesday, November 25, either online at the same website, or by calling the church at (941) 697-1747. GCUMC is located at 1100 S. McCall Road (Route 776), in the Gulf Cove area of Port Charlotte.
