The Charlotte County Jazz Society presents The Midiri Brothers

March 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
$25.00

The Charlotte County Jazz Society is proud to present an evening with the Midiri Brothers on March 9, 2026, at 7:00 PM. The performance will take place at The Gulf Theater, located at the Military Heritage Museum, 900 W Marion Ave., Punta Gorda.

The Midiri Brothers are two of the most exciting performers on today’s classic-jazz circuit. They travel from their home base in the northeast to perform at festivals and jazz parties across the U.S. with original material and their fresh takes on jazz standards. They have been acclaimed by critics at jazz festivals throughout the country for many years.
Identical twins Joe and Paul Midiri have dedicated their careers to both jazz and classical music since completing their college education in the mid-1980s. Joe is featured on clarinet, saxophone, and vocals reminiscent of Louis Armstrong. Paul plays the vibraphone and is also skilled on the drums and trombone. They have recorded in groups ranging from trios to big bands, performing arrangements by Goodman, Shaw, the Dorsey Brothers, and Paul’s own compositions and arrangements.
Joining Joe and Paul Midiri are Jeff Phillips on piano, Jay Mueller on bass and Patricia Dean on drums.

Admission is free for Charlotte County Jazz Society members. Tickets for the event are $25, payable by cash or check at the door. All are welcome. Tickets and memberships can also be purchased online by visiting cc-jazz.org. Students may attend free of charge.
