Please join the Peace River Butterfly Society for their November educational meeting on Thursday, November 16 at 10am. Forest Hecker presents “The Tale of the Atala Butterfly and the Coontie”. Forest is a UF/IFAS Sarasota County Extension Community Educator. The Atala was once thought to be extinct but has made a comeback. The meeting will be held at the GFWC Woman's Club of Port Charlotte, 20271 Tappan Zee Drive, Port Charlotte. The meeting is free and open to the public.
