AMANDA GLAM
I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying Thelma (PG-13, available to rent on several streaming services). There is nothing not to love about this sweet, comic caper that follows 93-year-old Thelma’s quest to recover money from Internet scammers. Thelma (June Squibb) is pretty sharp and lives on her own, but like most 90somethings, she does not get computers.

Watching Nicole Kidman receive the American Film Institute’s Lifetime Achievement Award on TCM last month, I was reminded of the Oscar-winner’s substantial and impressive body of work. Kidman shines in films like The Lion, The Hours, Practical Magic and more.
