The Englewood Area Orchid Society will be holding our monthly meeting, this month's meeting we will have the Venice Area Orchid Society joining us and our guest speaker will be Katie Caldwell. Katie had a large greenhouse on Boca and encountered lots of loss from the storm, she will be talking about tips she has learned and how she has overcome these losses. She will also help us to understand how to help our Orchids survive after such a traumatic event. SHOW OFF YOUR ORCHIDS! Bring them to the meeting, we vote on them and give away ribbons, IT'S FUN. We have raffle tickets available for sale, 6 for $5, and we always have LOTS of fabulous plants and supplies to choose from. EAOS meets at 6:30 pm on the 3rd Monday of every month except December and August at St. David's Episcopal Church, 401 S. Broadway, Englewood, Florida. Membership in our society is $15 per year per family, but you can attend a meeting for free, to see if it's the right fit for you. We are all a fun and social group, who love plants, especially Orchids. Whether yours are thriving or dyeing, you belong here. See you then!
