The September dinner meeting for Business & Professional Women of Englewood & Venice (BPWEV) will be Tuesday, September 19, 5:15pm, at the Plantation Golf & Country Club, 500 Rockley Blvd., Venice. Guest speaker will be Shannon Mesenburg. Shannon, a former Bond Trader & Global Project Manager, was in the World Trade Center when it was bombed and it changed the trajectory of her life. She also lost her son who was in the military to suicide. She sits on the boards of several non-profits in assisting veterans, first responders, honoring Gold Star Families, and works to remove the stigma of depression & suicide awareness.
