A spring vegetable gardening workshop is scheduled from 9am to noon on Saturday, February 17 at Centennial Park Recreation Center, 1120 Centennial Blvd., Port Charlotte. This program is sponsored by UF/IFAS Extension Charlotte County. The workshop will cover the basics of vegetable gardening, pest and diseases. There is a $5 fee to cover the cost of materials.
