History Tour Climb at the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse

Beginning November 7, lighthouse climbs will be offered every Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The first climb starts at 11:00 AM, and the last climb begins at 3:00 PM.

Location: Port Boca Grande Lighthouse & Museum (Public parking is available at the FL State Park Parking Lot located at 880 Belcher Road)

Admission:

Adults: $10
Children (under 12): $5
All proceeds directly support BIPS’ historic lighthouse preservation efforts.

Important Details:

Participants must be at least 48 inches tall to climb.

Check in and RSVP on the day of your climb at the Lighthouse Gift Shop.

Climbs are offered during tour hours as space allows and often sell out quickly!

For everyone’s safety:

No heels or flip-flops (wear sensible shoes).
No large bags, backpacks, or purses.
No commercial photography, drones, or wet clothing.
Participants must be physically able to climb.
Climbs may be cancelled due to inclement weather or high winds.
No advance reservations are available.
Come step back in time, learn the lighthouse’s storied past, and take in sweeping views of the Gulf from one of Boca Grande’s most iconic landmarks.
