Innovator’s STEM Pavilion to Debut at 2025 Florida International Airshow

The 2025 Florida International Airshow will debut an exciting new attraction this year — the Innovator’s STEM Pavilion — designed to spark curiosity and creativity in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). The interactive pavilion will be open Nov. 1–2, featuring live demonstrations from 9 a.m. to noon both days at the Punta Gorda Airport.

The STEM Pavilion will highlight hands-on exhibits showcasing the latest innovations in education and technology, with opportunities for students, educators, and enthusiasts to explore cutting-edge tools such as virtual reality design goggles, drones, agricultural robotics, professional audio and video systems, and interactive medical diagnostic devices. Attendees will also get a closer look at aircraft structures and riveting demonstrations from the Charlotte Technical College Aviation Program.

The lineup of exhibitors includes Charlotte Community Foundation, ABC Supply, Career Source, Aviation Start, Women in Aviation, Charlotte County Public Works, Charlotte Technical College programs, local schools, and aviation professionals such as pilot Jamail Larkins and flight instructor Austin Pulliam. Each station will feature activities, demonstrations, and expert-led learning experiences for guests of all ages.

Younger students can also participate in the “Earn Your Wings” Reading Challenge, which invites elementary and middle school students to read an aviation-themed book, summarize what they’ve learned, and earn a free ticket to the airshow. Submissions are due Oct. 13, and certificates will be distributed by Oct. 30.

Setup for exhibitors will take place Friday afternoon or Saturday morning from 7:30 to 9 a.m. For more information about participation or attending the STEM Pavilion, visit www.floridainternationalairshow.com.
