Hospital Volunteers Recognized

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is proud to announce its remarkable impact on Charlotte and Sarasota Counties in 2023 through the dedicated volunteer efforts of its colleagues, strategic partnerships and generous donations. In 2023, Englewood Hospital colleagues contributed over 300 hours of volunteer service to community initiatives, including healthcare outreach, social services and educational programs. Their commitment to giving back demonstrates the hospital’s culture of extending care beyond the clinical setting and fostering community wellbeing. Some of the top organizations reached were colleague volunteering for the American Heart Assoc., Charlotte County Homeless Coalition, Habitat for Humanity, Sarasota County Schools, Sky Family YMCA, and St. David’s Jubilee Center. Hospital partnerships included All Faiths Food Bank, Boys & Girls Club, Charlotte County Schools, and Englewood and Venice Chambers of Commerce.
