Sea Grape Gallery is featuring two of their artists, Susan Krasny, oil, acrylic and mixed media, and Renee Farr, glass artist, now through Friday, July 5th in the gallery located at 113 W. Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda.

“Sunday Swim” by Susan Krasny

Sue Krasny’s paintings are meant to communicate a unique sense of place through the bold use of color and light. Her oil paintings are primarily done with palette knife to create texture and layers of color. The acrylic paintings might include playful elements such as luminous paint and surprises of texture. Her collages represent a blending of paint, handmade paper, shells and other found objects, and are often whimsical in nature.

Artist: Renee Farr

Renee Farr began her   obsession with glass when she settled in Southwest Florida. She had been designing jewelry and decided to add glass components to her artwork. She took several classes at a local studio and realized quickly that she wanted to fully explore that medium. Renee is inspired by life’s beauty and her love of color which can be seen in her beautiful glass artworks.
