Remember the old Greyhound Bus slogan: “Sit back and leave the driving to us?” Well, residents and visitors who are tired of the hassle of finding a parking space when they go to the beach, restaurants on Manasota Key and even find parking on West Dearborn Street during busy times, now can leave the driving to someone else and receive curb service when they book a ride with Manasota Valet, a new neighborhood shuttle bus that will pick you up at your home and transport you to your destination.

Imagine riding in air-comforted style right to the beach access along with all your gear & chairs and then back home again when you are ready (no sandy cars to sweep out, either!). Manasota Valet will transport you to Englewood Beach, Stump Pass Beach State Park, Middle Beach (Blind Pass) or Manasota Beach.

Even if you are not a beach person, you can take advantage of this shuttle bus service to ride to restaurants and businesses on Manasota Key. Enjoy a drink or two with your meal as you don’t have to worry about a designated driver.

Take a ride down to West Dearborn Street to shop the downtown merchants and have something to eat or drink at one of the restaurants and coffeehouses there. Are you a fan of the Thursday Farmers Markets? If so, you know how hard it can be to find parking so stop wasting time circling. Be dropped off to do your shopping and then ride back home with your purchases -without the parking hassle.

Manasota Valet, LLC is headed by Dominic Trahan and is sponsored by Lock ‘N Key Restaurant, the SandBar Tiki & Grille, Magnolia’s on the Key and Manasota Key Marina. Trahan also owns Stumpy’s Free Beach Ride, a free shuttle and food delivery service on Manasota Key which offers rides from beach rentals to restaurants and businesses on the Key from Stump Pass to Blind Pass Beach. The luxury golf carts follow a regular route and can hold six people. Drivers work for tips-only. Stumpy’s Free Ride can be contacted at 941-822-1444 or visit stumpysfreeride.com.

Trahan would like you to think of Manasota Valet as “My Neighborhood Shuttle”, saving you the hassle of driving around Englewood. Prices are based on pick-up location and destination. One-way trips start at $10 per pickup for two people with additional $5 per person, maximum six, in Englewood. From the Rotonda area, rates start at $15 per pickup for two with additional $5 per person, maximum six. They also serve Gulf Cove and South Gulf Cove (call for rates). The shuttle service area covers from Manasota Beach Road to the southern end of Placida and east to Gulf Cove and South Gulf Cove. They do not provide airport service. Current hours are 11am to 9pm daily. Payment options are currently cash and Venmo. Trahan invites you to “Come and use us! We want to be your neighborhood shuttle around Englewood.”
