It’s a Paw-ty!

The Suncoast Humane Society will host a Silent Disco Fundraiser on Friday, June 6, 6:30 to 10 pm at Plantation Golf & Country Club, 500 Rockley Blvd., Venice. If you’re a music lover of any age or genre, this is your chance to dance to a variety of beats while contributing to a great cause. With three amazing DJs spinning on three different channels, there’s something for everyone! There will be a cash bar, hors d’oeuvers, a silent auction, and a photo booth. Individual tickets are $60. Dog Tales at the Library
On Wednesday, April 23, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, readers of all ages are invited to read to a therapy dog at Englewood Charlotte Library, 3460 N. Access Road. This fun and encouraging program helps build reading confidence in a relaxed setting. For more information, call 941•681•3735.
