North Port Winter Break Camp Registration Opens Sept. 29

Winter break will be here before you know it, and the City of North Port Parks & Recreation Department is once again offering families a safe, fun and engaging option for children to stay busy during the winter season break. Registration for Winter Camp opens Monday, September 29, 2025.

Hosted at the George Mullen Activity Center, 1602 Kramer Way, the camp welcomes students in grades 1 through 8 to enjoy days filled with games, crafts and seasonal adventures in a supervised, positive environment.

Camp will run in two sessions:

  • Session One: December 22–26, 2025 (no camp December 24–25)
  • Session Two: December 29, 2025–January 2, 2026 (no camp January 1)

Daily camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with optional extended care available before and after camp for an additional fee. The cost is $60 for session one and $80 for session two.

To help make camp accessible to more families, the Youth Scholarship Program provides limited financial assistance toward weekly fees. Scholarships are awarded based on eligibility and available funds. Families interested in applying, or community members who would like to contribute to the program, can learn more and access applications at NorthPortFL.gov/YouthScholarship.
