North Port’s Concert in the Park returns this fall

NORTH PORT, Fla. — Music will fill the air this fall as the City of North Port’s Parks & Recreation Department brings back its popular Concert in the Park series. The free, family-friendly events will take place on the City Center Front Green, 4970 City Hall Blvd., on the third Friday of September and October.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and dancing shoes for an evening of live music, food, and community fun. Local vendors will be on hand offering food and beverages for purchase. Outside alcohol will not be permitted.

This year’s lineup kicks off Friday, Sept. 19, with FM Station FLA taking the stage at 7 p.m. Seating opens at 6 p.m. The series continues Friday, Oct. 17, when Dukes of Brinkley perform at 6:30 p.m., with seating opening at 5:30 p.m.

Organizers say the concerts highlight North Port’s commitment to providing free, family-friendly entertainment that brings the community together.

The Parks & Recreation Department is also seeking sponsors to help support the series. Sponsorship packages include brand visibility, recognition in promotional materials, and other benefits.
