Poinsettia Parade & Festival is this Saturday

Are you ready for this year’s Poinsettia Parade & Festival?

Know before you go:

  • The Festival will be held from 3-7 p.m. at the City Center Front Green.
  • The Parade will set off down Sumter Boulevard at 5 p.m., traveling south and ending back at the City Center Front Green, where the Poinsettia Festival will continue.
  • There’ll be a Little Elves Craft Workshop, Yuletide Shopping and Food Village with plenty of food vendors and merchandise vendors, live music by FM Station FLA and community performances, an opportunity to meet Santa and a Candy Cane Kids Zone at the festival.
  • Bring donations of hygiene items, non-perishable food and toys to benefit several local organizations for the 12 Days of Giving Food Drive. 

Parking:

  • Parking will be available at the Morgan Family Community Center, 6207 W. Price Blvd., that includes a free shuttle to and from the City Center Campus.
  • Parking will also be available at the City Center Campus with overflow parking adjacent to The Gallery, Florida Cancer Specialist & Research Institute and Walmart Neighborhood Market (excluding online order pick-up spaces). 
  • Keep in mind: Road closures and detours will begin at 2 p.m. Vehicular access to the City Center Campus closes at 4 p.m. and will not reopen until after the parade passes and the road closures and detours have been cleared, at approximately 7 p.m.
