Sarasota County Schools Student Services is inviting local students and families to an informative evening of exploration and planning at 2025 College Night, set for Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Robarts Arena, 3000 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota.
Designed for students in grades 9 – 12, the event provides a unique opportunity to connect with colleges, universities, and various career pathways all in one place. Whether students are aiming for higher education close to home or considering options nationwide, College Night is built to help them take the next step toward their goals.
What Students Can Expect

- Meet with college representatives: Institutions from across Florida, including Suncoast Technical College, as well as universities from around the country, will be present to answer questions and share information.
- Admissions guidance: Attendees can begin mapping out requirements and strategies for applying to their schools of choice.
- Financial aid and scholarships: Experts will be on hand to demystify the financial side of higher education and explain opportunities for scholarships.
- Military pathways: Students curious about serving their country can meet with recruiting representatives and liaison officers to explore career and educational benefits in the armed forces.
This free event presents students and families with the tools to make informed choices about education and careers after high school.
