The last turtle is finally here!
If you haven’t explored the Coastal Wildlife Educational Garden yet, now’s the time. You’ll find it tucked away on Maple Street, right behind Sip Sip Hooray Garden Cafe at 240 W Dearborn, Englewood.
Looking for a summer field trip? This spot is a splendid choice for families, homeschoolers, and traveling education programs alike.

Walk through, and you’ll discover several stations, each with a QR code ready to share stories about our coastal wildlife. Take your time wandering among the sculptures, which local businesses sponsor and local artists paint. Let them know in advance, and they can arrange for a docent to guide your group. The full tour takes about 45 minutes.

The Educational Garden is just one part of the “Fathers and Flippers” sculpture display along West Dearborn in Englewood Village. As you explore, don’t miss the 30 vibrant murals and historic properties scattered around the area.
The Artist Colony sponsored and presented this work in Englewood, always supporting art and the performing arts in the community.

The last turtle has arrived, so stop by and say hello!
