The Paw-fect Workout: 2026 Animal Yoga Options Across Southwest Florida

Paws & Poses at the Gulf Coast Humane Society in Fort Meyers

Thinking about trying animal yoga in Southwest Florida in 2026? From capybaras lounging beside you during a sun salutation to lemurs playfully joining your downward dog, there’s something for everyone.

Dim Jandy Ranch

Goat Yoga at Dim Jandy

If you’re into goats, start with Dim Jandy Ranch in Fort Myers. Their Nigerian Dwarf goats are basically four-legged comedians, and the setting’s just right for relaxing and snapping a few goofy photos. In addition to their goats, they have a Scottish Highland calf that will join in the fun. This is an adorable breed known for their big eyes, shaggy coats and are famous for their playful “zoomies.” You can find information at dimjandy.com.

Paws & Poses

If dogs or cats are more your style, try Paws & Poses at the Gulf Coast Humane Society in Fort Myers. You get to do yoga with shelter animals, and your class fee helps support the shelter. Not a bad deal. For cat lovers, watch for Yoga & Kittens events from Paws of Love Animal Rescue — they sometimes pop up at The Regent (like the one set for February 8, 2026).

Pupilates

Pupilates

If yoga isn’t your thing, how about giving Pupilates a try. Be ready to stretch, smile, and maybe sneak in a puppy cuddle. Gulf Coast Humane Society and Club Pilates (from Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Bonita Springs, and Estero) are teaming up for Pupilates—a wellness event that’s as much about wagging tails as it is about working out.

This isn’t your average workout. They’re mixing movement and mindfulness with a big dose of mission. You’ll get an all-levels mat Pilates class led by Jane Fried, Club Pilates’ Manager & Lead Instructor. There’s more, too, think local vendors, cool swag, t-shirts, and plenty of pet-friendly energy.

Come for the stretch, stay for the snuggles. Every dollar you spend helps pets find their forever homes. It’s a win-win: you leave the mat feeling good, and you help animals in need.

Details:
Where: Edison Mall, 4125 Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, FL 33901
When: Saturday, March 28th, 2026
Time: 8:00 am – 10:00 am
