(July 11, 2025) — Local pickleball enthusiasts and newcomers alike are invited to celebrate National Pickleball Day at Tringali Park Recreation Center on Friday, Aug. 8. The daylong event, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., promises a full slate of activities designed to bring players of all levels together for fun, fitness, and community spirit.
The event will feature open play on multiple courts, ensuring space for beginners, intermediate players, and seasoned competitors. In addition to free-play sessions, attendees will enjoy light refreshments, prizes, and giveaways throughout the day.

“Whether you’ve been playing for years or just picked up a paddle, this is a great opportunity to join the fun and celebrate one of the fastest-growing sports in the country,” said a spokesperson from Charlotte County Community Services.
