Get ready for the 34th Annual Venice Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, happening January 16-18 at the Venice Airport Festival Grounds.
The Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club has organized a big event this year, featuring over 100 artists and craftspeople. You’ll see everything from handcrafted jewelry and ceramics to woodwork, paintings, textiles, photos, and a wide variety of home décor. Artists are coming in from all over Florida, and beyond.
It’s not just about the art, either. The weekend’s packed with live music. Friday night kicks off with Karate in the Garage. Saturday brings sets from Cry’n Shames, The Occasions, and O2H – if you’re into Hall & Oates, you won’t want to miss that tribute. On Sunday, Paisley Craze and Deep Blu Band will keep the good vibes going.

And there’s more. The festival is throwing a glow party Friday and Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. which is always a hit. Kids get their own art exhibit, and nobody’s going hungry with food trucks on site. There’s a beer and wine garden, a full cocktail bar, and the always-popular Duck Pluck Tent.
According to David Butler, president of the Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club, this festival does more than just celebrate art; it supports local artists and small creative businesses, and it brings the community together.

Mark your calendar, bring your friends, and come be part of a Venice tradition that’s all about creativity, connection, and a whole lot of fun.
Here’s the rundown:
Friday, 6-9 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
