ENGLEWOOD, Florida — Community members, veterans and local organizations will gather on December 7, 2025, for the Eighty-Fourth Anniversary Ceremony of Pearl Harbor at It will be held at Englewood’s Veterans Park, W. Dearborn St. (the end of Dearborn by the water). The event will begin at 1 p.m. and is organized by VFW Post 10178 and Auxiliary, Lemon Bay High School NJROTC, Rotunda West American Legion Post 113 and the Veterans Honor Guard.
Danny Fuson will open the program with introductions. Rev. Ronnie Jackson will deliver the opening prayer before the Lemon Bay NJROTC leads the Pledge of Allegiance. Retired Navy veteran Carol Hilt will perform the national anthem.
Retired Navy Capt. Darren Glaser is scheduled to serve as guest speaker. A tribute to the fallen veterans of Pearl Harbor will follow.
The American Legion Post 113 and the Rotonda West Honor Guard will conduct the Final Salute, followed by the firing of rifles and the playing of Taps. Rev. Jackson will close the ceremony with a prayer.
Please attend and honor those who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
