The Jewish Film Festival of Southwest Florida Returns for its 30th Anniversary — Bigger Than Ever

The Jewish Film Festival Celebrates 30 Years

The Jewish Film Festival of Southwest Florida is back for its 30th year, and this time, it’s bigger than ever.

All screenings take place at Regal Belltower, 13499 Bell Tower Dr in Fort Myers. General admission tickets mean open seating, but if you sponsor, you get to reserve your spot.

Thirty years is no small feat. The festival team is ready to celebrate with a packed lineup, highlighting Jewish stories and voices in film. You’ll find everything from dramas to comedies; some films dig into Jewish culture, while others shine because of the Jewish directors and actors who made them happen.

David Garonzik, who helps run the festival, explained the committee’s approach: “We wanted variety. Not every film has to be about the Holocaust, and not every story needs to focus on October 7. We wanted to bring in films that reach everyone.”

The festival runs from February 1 through March 26 at the Regal Belltower Stadium 20 theater. For tickets, seating details, or more info, just head to the Jewish Federation of Lee and Charlotte County’s website.

Garonzik summed it up best: “It’s rare for a film festival to stick around for 30 years. At this point, it’s basically a legacy here in Lee County and all of Southwest Florida.”

Open seating at all films for general admission tickets.
Reserved seating available with your sponsorship.
