Every month, Lemon Bay High School’s Athletic Department shines a light on exceptional student-athletes, honoring not just athletic skill but character too. At the close of each month, they choose one Female Athlete of the Month, one Male Athlete of the Month, and celebrate a student with the Good Sportsmanship Award.
This fall brought plenty of excitement, especially after a Homecoming win and a record-breaking streak for the Girls Golf team. For the ninth year in a row, they clinched the County Championship, edging out Charlotte in a nail-biter: 397 to 401.

Following these achievements, Athletic Director Ryan Lavallee announced October’s Athletes of the Month. Congratulations to Nona Potter, Kyle Lackey, and Connor McCloud. Their determination and standout performances made them truly deserving of this honor.

Looking ahead, Lemon Bay is launching a Lady Manta Flag Football team for the Spring season, joining FHSAA competition.
