LAKEWOOD RANCH, November 4, 2025 — The Women’s Resource Center will present “The Transformative Power of Mentorship,” an evening event celebrating how mentorship can inspire individuals and strengthen communities. Part of the organization’s Wonder Women Collective series, the program features keynote speaker Jenny Jing Zhu, an entrepreneur, author, and advocate who will share her journey from a small village in rural China to leading Lush Décor, a $100-million U.S. company. The event takes place Thursday, November 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Grove, 10670 Boardwalk Loop, Lakewood Ranch. Guests will enjoy food, beverages, networking opportunities, and a book signing, with complimentary copies of Zhu’s book provided by the Sarasota Forward Foundation. Tickets are $50 for general admission and $100 for an option that includes sponsoring a ticket for a Women’s Resource Center client, staff member, or volunteer.
